Why do we offer additional socks? The idea is that you might eventually wear one out or even lose one in the wash (like those pesky socks for feet). Or, you might want a different sock color for different colored clays, like porcelain and earthenware. If you've work with wet, sticky clay, you know how a paddle wants to cling to the surface. A sock will allow the paddle to release quickly when slapping the clay. Made of stretchy polyester.
